Continue Living A Fulfilling Life With Memory Support

Forgetting little things like where you put the TV remote is typical as we age. But struggling with everyday tasks like paying the bills, preparing nutritious meals, or keeping the house clean and well-maintained may be signs that your loved one is in the early stages of dementia. Before memory challenges become a health concern, talk to your family member about the benefits of Memory Support at Cantata.

Memory Support Helps Cognitive Abilities

Dementia and other forms of memory loss are most common in individuals in their 80s and above, but may also affect seniors in their 70s or younger. Regardless of age, living in an environment rich with memory-friendly activities can help your loved one maintain their cognitive health for as long as possible. At Cantata, we offer social and wellness programs to keep our residents engaged and mentally stimulated. To learn more about Memory Support at Cantata, call us at (708) 387-1030.

Caring For The Individual

Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease affect each person differently, so each resident in Cantata with Memory Support needs is treated individually. Not only do our clinical experts provide oversight on medications and can administer them daily, they also review prescriptions and their effects to ensure each resident is receiving the proper dosage for their situation. And since dementia may alter a person’s behavior as well as their memory, our staff can call in additional medical and psychological resources to help with treatment when needed.

As part of Cantata’s continuum of care…which includes Independent Living, Assisted Living, Short-Term Rehab, and Long-Term Care…Memory Support allows seniors to age comfortably even as their needs change.
